  1. Richard

I’ve lived in Saint Anthony East since the late 70’s and have been signed up for crime alerts for years. Why don’t we see more alerts from the North East ? I get a lot from the South East area.

    1. Great question, Richard! MPD frequently attends SAENA’s monthly meetings (the 4th Monday of the month at Clare Housing). They report very low crime statistics in St. Anthony East, and generally in all of the 2nd precinct. Southeast is a bit higher because of the student population being a target of crime. If you want more information, contact Nick Juarez, Crime Prevention Specialist at the 2nd precinct: (612) 673-2797 or nicholas.juarez@minneapolismn.gov.
